"S" is for speed and sportiness
The new Bavaria Cruiser 40 S is the sporty version of the Cruiser 40 by Farr Yacht Design. She is based on the same hull but her weight has been optimized and she comes with a lot of features that make this boat a true cruiser racer for the ambitious sailor with a sense for space and comfort. The 40 S, launched at he boat show "boot" in Düsseldorf/ Germany in January 2011, is also the official regatta boat for the Match Race Germany. Bavaria has been a partner of this racing event for many years and seven units of this yacht go to Lake Constance. As the Match Race fleet they will be sailed by the world's best skippers.
